Paul Eugene Collins, 79, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016, in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born on December 31, 1936.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Marie (Grimes) Collins in September 1996; his son, William Cavalcante; step daughter, Gloria Whoolery; and grandchildren, Clarence and Daniel Cavalcante.

Paul worked in the coal mines for many years. He along with his wife Mildred owned Petty's Lunch Restaurant and later owned and operated Collins Personal Care Home. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved talking with neighbors on his porch and you could always find him at Sam's Restaurant in Uniontown.

Left to cherish his memory are, his daughter-in-law, Karla Cavalcante; son-in-law, Thomas Whoolery, his grandchildren; great grandchildren; several siblings; distant relatives; and many friends

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Monday, November 28, from 4-8 p.m. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, from 12-1 p.m. the Hour of Service with Pastor Lee Maley Officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown. PA.
