Pamela M. Johnston, 60, of Uniontown, PA, passed away at home on Saturday, February 27, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 24, 1955 in Uniontown, daughter of the late Paul T. and Linda M. (Neratka) Johnston.
In addition to her parents, her maternal grandparents, Louise and Walter Neratka, and paternal grandparents, George and Ethel Johnston, preceded her in death.
Pam was a Direct Service Coordinator with Domestic Violence Services for 25 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Service Resources and an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. She was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux R.C. Church in Uniontown, and in earlier years was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her life partner, Sherrie Franks; 6 children, Kristi Hatfield, Amber Sharp, Jacob Johnston, April Johnston, Alyssa Johnston, and T.J. Jones; three grandchildren; two sisters, Paula A. Haragos and husband Robert, Val Johnston and Marisa Rivera, and a brother, Thomas W. Johnston and wife Janet, and special friend Rocky Valentine, all of Uniontown, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Tuesday, March 1, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, March 2, at 10 a.m.. Entombment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery Chapel of Memories Mausoleum.
