Ms. Opal J. McClean McCann, 97, formerly of Uniontown, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 in Lakeland, FL.

She was born in Filbert, PA on August 15, 1928 to the late Charles W. and Ruth Kelley Wiles.

Opal graduated from Uniontown High School, class of 1946.

She was preceded in death by husband Harry S. McClean, whom she was married to for thirty-three years.

Opal was an active member of her church in Winter Haven, FL.

She loved to roller skate (pair dancing) with her husband Harry into her late fifties.

After many years of traveling the western hemisphere with her husband Harry and their children, they settled in Winter Haven, FL; where they lived their final years.  Opal lived a full and happy life, she will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Opal is survived by son, James D. Crawford of Winter Haven, FL, and daughter, Marjorie Crawford-Helinski and husband Ronald of Beaver, PA; grandchildren, Larry "JJ" St. Esprit and Dawn D. Buczko and husband Adam; four great grandchildren, Jesse St. Esprit, Shannon St. Esprit and husband John Gulish, Olivia Kelley St. Esprit, and Taylor Madison Buczko; and one great great grandson, Noah Robert St. Esprit; and sister-in-law, Mrs. George Betty McClean of Uniontown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a nine year old daughter, Kelley Dawn McClean; and siblings, Helen Inks, Ethel Fike, and Charles William Wiles.

Visitation for Opal will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Saturday, December 27th from 1 to 3 PM, at which time the funeral service will begin.

Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
