Obituary

Olga Marie Snock, age 82, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Uniontown Hospital.

She was born on January 25, 1929 in Republic, PA, daughter of the late John Donelich and Anna (Cornet) Donelich.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Snock on June 21, 1998; and a sister, Elsie Solobay of Canonsburg, PA.

Olga was a member of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, and St. Joseph Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was a graduate of Brownsville High School Class of 1948.

Olga retired from Gallet Knitting Mill of Uniontown after 45 years as the Plant Manager. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She and her daughter Susie especially enjoyed evenings with friends and the staff at Eat "N" Park Restaurant in Uniontown, where she was affectionately known as "Tootsie".

Left to cherish her memory are, her daughter, Susan Snock, with whom she made her home; two sisters, Margaret Klamerus of Carmichaels, PA., and Helen Smith of Willowick, OH; a brother-in-law, Mike Snock, of Brownsville, PA; many dear nieces and nephews and their families; and very close friends and neighbors, Joe,Patty, Brian, Chris, and Katie Semans; Tom and Shirley Coleman; and Joe and Eleanor Kovach.

Special thanks to the staff of the Uniontown Hospital for their care and compassion during her brief stay.



Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Monday, August 29, from 2-4 and 6-9 PM, and Tuesday, August 30, until 9:15 when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Funeral Mass will follow on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. in Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 180 Old Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown, PA, with Rev. Father James Clark as Celebrant.

Entombment will be held at Mount Saint Macrina Mausoleum, Uniontown, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
