Nellie C. Brijya, 97, of Smithfield, Pa., died on Tuesday, September 11, 2012.
She was born on May 26, 1915 in Oliver #3, Pa., daughter of John and Katie (Klamers) Brijya.
Nellie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Joseph Braya, John Braya, Steve Braya, Frank Braya and a sister Blanche Balawender.
Nellie was a member of Saints Cyril & Methodius Roman Catholic Church, Fairchance, PA.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister Mary Alice Drobny and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA on Friday September 14, 2012, from 10 until 11 a.m. when a blessing service will be held with Fr. Andrew M. Kawecki, officiating.
Interment will be held in St. St. Joseph Cemetery Fairchance, PA.
