Nancy Jo (Talpas) Haky Brown, 58 of Hopwood, Pa., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Uniontown Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 24, 1960 in Ohio, daughter of the late William Edward Talpas and Evelyn (Long) Talpas.

Nancy was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and shall be deeply missed by her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, John Brown; sons, Stephen Haky, IV. of Hopwood, Ed Haky of Uniontown; five grandchildren; brother, Butch Talpas of Ohio; sister, Deborah Ruzicka of Ohio; sister, Bernadette Sisler of Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 1 p.m. in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 50 Jefferson St., Uniontown, Pa. with Rev. Father Anthony J. Klimko as celebrant.
