Obituary

Mollie Naymick, 93, of Uniontown, PA, passed away in her home on Friday, October 10, 2014. She was born December 11, 1920 in Cairnbrook, PA, daughter of the late Tony and Jennie (Sernel) Strasiser.

Mollie was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Uniontown. She was employed as a manager at Revco Company for many years, and during World War II assembled airplanes in Akron, OH. Mollie loved crocheting and tatting. She enjoyed bowling and camping at Big Bear Lake Campground. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake for her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Strasiser; and sisters, Julia Carter, Jennie Selby.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 68 years, Harry Naymick; children, Patricia Chin DNS and husband William Chin M.D. of Monterey Park, California, and Mark Naymick and wife Jane of Uniontown, PA; grandchildren, William E. Chin and wife Roisin living in Ireland, Pamela Jones and husband Patrick of Tiverton, RI, Andrew Naymick and his wife Genna of Uniontown, PA, and Michelle, and Jennifer of Uniontown, PA; great grandchildren, Catherine and Charlotte Jones, and Lyra Chin; sister, Mary Lephart; and brother, Frank Strasiser.


Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext, Uniontown, PA., on Sunday, October 12, from 6-8 P.M. and Monday, October 13, until 11 A.M. the hour of service with Pastor Kevin Anderson officiating.

Entombment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery Mausoleum, Uniontown, PA.
