Millie Cavalcante's Obituary
Emilia "Millie" Cavalcante, 92 of Edenborn, Pa., passed away on Monday May 21, 2012.
She was born December 12, 1919 in Edenborn, Pa., a daughter of Amato "Ralph" and Carmella (Bianconelli) Cavalcante.
She was a long time parishioner of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church and recently attended mass at All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Masontown, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grace Digiovine, Rose Ballas, Marie Holonich, Eleanor Cavalcante, William "Mush" Cavalcante, Orlando "Peg" Cavalcante, Alberto "Biz" Cavalcante, and James Cavalcante.
Left to cherish her memory are nieces and nephews Frances Glad, Donald Digiovine, Rose Marie Shick, Jackie Peters, Cynthia Richnafsky, Dennis Ballas, Ralph Cavalcante, Joseph Holonich, Carmella Pritches, great nieces and great nephews Paul Shick, Eddie Shick, Karen Newman, Regina Glitz, Heather Schewmacher, Matthew Cavalcante, Melanie Garnett, Kathleen Holonich, Steven Holonich, Matthew Holonich, Kristen Holonich, Michael Digiovine, Renatta Ayers, Alphonso Peters, Elisa Armstrong and many great great nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Friday, May 25, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; and on Saturday, May 26, until 9:30 a.m.
The Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 101 S. Washington St., Masontown, PA with Rev. Father John M. Butler as Celebrant.
Interment will be held in St Agnes Cemetery, Leckrone, PA.
