Michael J. Hardison, 67, of Uniontown, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at his home.
He was born in Braddock, PA on May 5, 1957 to the late Thomas George and Marian Gossik Hardison.
Michael graduated from Uniontown High School.
He married Janice Filitsky on March 19, 1983.
Michael was self-employed electrical contractor.
He was a member of St. Mary Nativity Church.
Michael was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 1669, Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, Messmore Rod and Gun Club, Fairbanks Rod and Gun Club, Indians Club, Pals Club, Hutchinson Sportsmans Club, Masontown VFW, Keisterville Sportsman Club, Greensboro VFW, Lemont Sportsmans Club, Leckrone Country Club, Father Son Camp in Potter County, Camp Newman in Cameron County, and Camp ICU in Greene County.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years, Janice Hardison of Uniontown; son, Michael Hardison, Jr. (Ashley Vernon), two daughters, Amanda Hardison, Malleri Hardison (Gordon Croushore), and grandson, Michael Hardison, III.
Visitation for Michael will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Monday, April 14 from 2 to 7 PM. Prayers of transfer will be held at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and then a mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary Nativity Church, 61 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Tuesday, April 15 at 10 AM.
Interment is in Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery.
