Maureen Rae (Kurcina) Gibson, 63 of Uniontown, PA passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, in Uniontown Hospital. Maureen was born on July 21, 1954, a daughter of Robert Kurcina , who preceded her in death, and Margaret (Hynek) Kurcina.

She was the loving mother of Debra, Todd, and Brett Gibson; she is also survived by her mother, Margaret Kurcina; her sister, Dolores Kurcina Smith, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Maureen worked for many years helping the handicapped as an employee of the Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration and she was an active member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Tuesday, May 15, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 16, until 12 Noon when a Blessing Service will be held with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti Officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.
