Matthew J. Kremposky's Obituary
Matthew J. Kremposky, III, age 61, of Lemont Furnace, died suddenly while vacationing with his family in Virginia, on Tuesday, December 13, 2011.
He was born on August 7, 1950 in Connellsville, PA, son of the late Matthew J. Kremposky, Jr. and Veronica (Hertznell) Kremposky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan M. Kremposky in 1985, a sister Annette Kremposky, and a brother Leonard Kremposky.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 37 years, Vickey (Shipley) Kremposky; three children, Chevonne Marie Kremposky of Lemont Furnace, PA, Alicia Anne Kremposky of Johnstown, PA, and Joshua Michael Kremposky at home; a sister, Cynthia Stought and husband Richard of Camp Hill, PA; many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved pets, Zeus, Smoochie, Chewy, Oscar, and Hugo.
Matthew was a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church. He retired from PNC Bank, where he was the Uniontown Branch Manager for many years. He was a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School Class of 1968, received an Associate Degree in Business from Penn State University, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, and also a Master's Degree in Guidance Counseling from California University of Pennsylvania.
Matthew was an avid hunter and fisherman, certified scuba diver, and enjoyed gardening. He was a member of the BPO Elks # 370, Hutchinson Sportsman's Club, Lemont Furnace Sportsman's Club. Matthew was also a 33rd Degree Mason, Past Master of Masonic Lodge # 228 F&AM, Pittsburgh Consistory, Tall Cedars, Uniontown Lodge of Perfection.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Saturday, December 17, from 7-9 PM, Sunday, December, 18, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, and Monday, December 19, until 9:30 AM, when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be held at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church on Monday, December 19, at 10:00 AM, with Msgr. J. Edward McCullough as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA. 15401
Masonic Funeral Services will be held by Fayette Lodge #228 F&AM, at the funeral home on Saturday, December 17, at 7:30 PM. The Parish Family Rosary Service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, December 18, at 4:00 PM.
