Mary Patricia (Kurkey) Yezioro, age 78, formerly of Uniontown, and living at the Traditions of Hershey in Palmyra, Pennsylvania, died on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, PA



Mary was born on July 15, 1932 in Keisterville, PA, daughter of John and Mary Kurkey. She was the last member of her immediate family, preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward T. Yezioro, and brothers, John and Stanley Kurkey.

Mary was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and her many, many wonderful friends.



She was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church.



Left to cherish her memory are her children, Janet MacDonald of Pittsburgh PA, Mark Yezioro and wife Robin of Stafford VA, and Ami Gould and husband Andy of Hershey, PA; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.



Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Friday, March 25, from 2-8 p.m.; and on Saturday, March 26, until 9:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown, PA, with Monsignor Michael W. Matusak as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.



The Parish Wake Service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m.
