Mary Ann (Squirek) Tesauro, 68, of Lemont Furnace, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in Jefferson Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 23, 1948 in Lemont Furnace, Mary Ann was the daughter of Stanley and Mary (Peshko) Squirek, Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley (Curly) Squirek, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jan F. Tesauro and their four children, Tina Tesauro-Stefano and her husband Senator Pat Stefano, Jamie Tesauro Blaney, Nicole Sandusky and husband Chris, and son, Jon Tesauro. Mary Ann was blessed with nine grandchildren that she cherished dearly, Jennifer and fianc Ben, Marina, Francesca and Nathan Stefano; Roger III, Nicholas and Brandon Blaney; CJ, and Emmalyn Sandusky. She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Simon and Sandy.

She was a member of St Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, and a graduate of North Union High School Class of 1967. While dedicating her life to her children and grandchildren, she also worked at Berkowitz Co., St. John Byzantine School, and Nickman's Pharmacy. She was looking forward to celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary on July 27, 2017.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, today (Thursday), September 8, from 6-8 p.m., Friday, September 9, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.; and Saturday, September 10, until 9:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be held.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in St Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown, PA.

Interment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

The Parish Wake Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 3 p.m.
