Mary Ann (Adams) Polink, age 81, of Uniontown passed away peacefully at Mt. Macrina Manor on Thursday, November 7, 2013.
She was born in Uniontown on May 6, 1932, daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Hardy) Adams.
She was a graduate of South Union High School, a lifelong member of St. Mary Nativity Roman Catholic Church and loved to play bingo.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Polink and the following brothers, John, Frank, Joseph, Alfred and Raymond.
She is survived by the following brothers, Andrew and wife Evelyn of Marysville, Tennessee, Steven and wife Judy, and Edward and wife Sandy, all of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Josephine Adams of Cleveland, Ohio and Rose Adams of Uniontown; numerous nieces and nephews; a very special nephew, her caretaker, Larry Adams and wife Linda of Uniontown; and a very special friend Brenda.
Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA., on Sunday, November 10, from 2 p.m. - 7 p.m., and Monday, November 11, from 9 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, 61 North Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA, with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti as Celebrant.
Interment will be held at St. Mary (Nativity) Cemetery, Uniontown, PA
The Parish Wake Service will be held on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
