Mary Catherine (Moore) Peretti, 90 of Chestnut Ridge, Pennsylvania died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 11, 2017. She was born on October 23, 1926 in Searight, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Robert and Olive (Franks) Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete L. Peretti, Sr.; and siblings, Sylvia Bloom, Mable Moore, Zelma Moore, Betty Moore, Opal Lewis, Leonard Moore, and Robert Moore.

Mary was a parishioner at Saint Mary Nativity Church of Uniontown, Pa. She was involved in parish activities at her former parish St. Hedwig Church of Smock as a Catechist for Religious Formation. She also served on the Pastoral Council, and was a member and Past-President of St. Hedwig Confraternity of Christian Mothers.

She is survived by her loving children, Rev. Peter L. Peretti, Jr. of Uniontown, Pa., Christina A. Bonner and husband Richard of Ralph, Pa., Ronald E. Peretti of Chestnut Ridge, Pa., and Annette M. Petrovich and husband John of Chestnut Ridge, Pa.; grandchildren, Scott A. Wible of Chestnut Ridge, Pa., Lori L. Cerja and husband Mark of Willow Park, TX, Lisa M. Wible of Ralph, Pa., Anthony J. Petrovich and wife Heather of Chestnut Ridge, Pa., Joseph R. Petrovich and wife Renee of Chestnut Ridge, Pa., and Johnetta N. Statler and husband Dustin of Morgantown WV; great grandchildren, Jacob and Kane Wible of Grindstone, Pa., Madelyn and Mark Cerja of Willow Park, TX, Hunter, Evan, Emma, and Dominic Petrovich of Chestnut Ridge, Pa.; sister-in-laws, Lurline Peretti of Alpine, CA, and Valerie Peretti of Uniontown, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA on Monday evening, May 15, from 7-9 p.m.; Tuesday, May 16, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; and Wednesday, May 17, until 10:30 a.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in Saint Mary Nativity Church, 61 N. Mount Vernon Ave., Uniontown, Pa., with her son, Father Peter L. Peretti, Jr. as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Smock, Pa.

The Parish Wake Service led by the Lazarus Ministry will be held on Tuesday at 3 p.m., followed by prayers by the St. Mary's Christian Mothers.
