Obituary

Mary A. (Fabbri) Mojock, age 89, of Masontown, PA, died on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Uniontown Hospital. She was born on September 29, 1921 in Masontown, PA, daughter of Teopisto and Dusola (Bandini) Fabbri.

She was the last member of her immediate family, preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles A. Mojock in 1970, brothers, Louis Fabbri and Msgr. Joseph Fabbri, and a sister, Sr. Carmelina Fabbri.

Mary was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church and Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was a graduate of All Saints High School, a member of the Italian Ladies Circle, and a volunteer at All Saints School.

Mary owned and operated Mojock's Corner Restaurant in Masontown until 1979. She was a very good cook, and proud of the recognition, "Greatest Ravioli Maker", awarded to her by the former Bishop Wright of Pittsburgh, PA. She had a passion for crossword puzzles, and taking trips to casinos with her family, who lovingly knew her as "Mom" and "Nonnie". She led a happy life, enjoying her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.



Left to cherish her memory are her children, David T. Mojock and wife Colleen of New Castle, PA; Mary Anne Marian and husband Joseph of Uniontown, PA; Josephine Ziglear of Morgantown, WV; and Charles R. Mojock and wife Catherine of Mt. Dora, FL; twelve grandchildren, David, Angela, Todd, Eric, Joey, Marissa, Michele, Melanie, Anthony, Christopher, Matthew, and Jonathan; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.



Friends will be received at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc, 515 North Main St., Masontown, PA., on Monday, April 25, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.; and on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 until 10:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 101 S. Washington St., Masontown, PA, with Rev. Father John Bauer as Celebrant.

Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, Leckrone, PA.

The Parish Rosary will be recited on Monday evening at 6:30 p.m.
