Mary Margaret (Petrovcik) Mayros, age 84 of Uniontown, PA, died on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Sunshine Estate Personal Care Home, Connellsville, PA.

She was born on May 8, 1926 in Czechoslovakia, daughter of Joseph and Annie Petrovcik. Her parents, and beloved husband Andrew "Andy" Mayros preceded her in death.

Mary was a member of Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church. She was raised in Canada, and was a former resident of Michigan where she was employed with Ward Bakery, and also resided in Florida after she retired.

Surviving is her Brother, Joseph Petrovcik, and several Nieces and Nephews and their families.

Mary's Niece Kathy Holup would like to thank Marcial and Klayre Agabon owners of Sunshine Personal Care Home, and their excellent staff of Caregivers. Also, many thanks go out to Albert Gallatin Home Care and Hospice Nurses and Support Staff.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA on Friday, Nov 19, from 5-9 p.m; and on Saturday, November 20, 2010 until 9:30 a.m. when the Panachida Service will be held.

A Divine Liturgy will follow at 10 a.m. in Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church with Rev. Father Ronald P. Larko as Celebrant.

Interment will be held at Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

The Parastas Service will be held on Friday evening at 8 p.m. .
