Mary Jane (Stronko) Kubitza, 84, of Smithfield, PA, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 12, 2016. She was born November, 20, 1931, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Bellay) Stronko.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 66 years, Andrew P. Kubitza Sr., in October of 2011; and her sister, Sarah Fargus.

Mary Jane was a member of St. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, Fairchance, PA. She loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be sadly missed.

Left to cherish her memory, are her children, Sandy Balash of Masontown, Andrew P. Kubitza Jr. of Marco Island, FL, Jerome Kubitza of Smithfield, Brian S. Kubitza of Uniontown, and Lori Beth Miller and her husband George of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren, Kristen Poston and her husband Ed, Karie Balash, Katelyn Collins and her husband Christopher, Matt Thompson and his wife Ruth, Adam Thompson and his wife Nicole, Andrew "Drew" Kubitza, Michael Kubitza and his wife Courtney, Brooke Miller, and Brynn Miller; great grandchildren, James Balash, Breona Balash, Luke Kalivoda, Paisley Thompson and Logan Collins ; her brother, Edward Daniel Stronko; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext, Uniontown, PA., on Monday, May 16, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 17, until 9:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church, 50 Morgantown Street, Faircahnce, PA.

Interment will be held at Mt. Saint Macrina Cemetery Uniontown, PA.
