Mary R. (Rusnock) Jones, age 97 of Uniontown, Pa., died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 20, 2018. She was born in Smock, Pa. on April 14, 1921, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Rusnock.

In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Catherine Schiffbauer, and sisters, Pauline Shutterly , Ann Purcell, Elizabeth Rusnock, and Irene Rusnock.

Mary was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, and retired from Pennsylvania State Employment Service after 25 years as an Employment Interviewer.

Surviving is her son Robert G. Jones and wife Toni with whom she made her home; a son-in-law, James Schiffbauer of Elizabeth City, NC; grandchildren, Jennifer Hartle and husband Jay, and James Schiffbauer, III. and wife Kiersten; great grandchildren, Tyler Jones, Logan Schiffbauer, and Mackenzie Schiffbauer, a brother, Andrew "Buddy"Rusnock and wife Alice of Kingston, RI; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Health Care and Hospice staff, especially Cassie (her girl), Donna, Torra, and Darla. Also Mary's  other caregivers and sitters, Bonnie, Robin, and Dawn.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc.,  603 N. Gallatin Avenue Ext. Uniontown, PA on Monday, April 23 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m.; and Tuesday, April 24 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. when the Panachida prayers will be said.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 185 E. Main St., Uniontown, Pa., with Rev. Father Ronald P. Larko as celebrant.

Interment will be held at St. John Byzantine Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.

The Parastas prayers will be held on Monday evening 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

In Lieu of Flowers memorial contributions can be made in memory of Mary Catherine Schiffbauer to the American Cancer Society.
