Mary (Delivuk) Posinak, 89, of Uniontown, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Generations Elder Care. She was born on August 22, 1925 in Uniontown, daughter of Charles and Katherine Delivuk.

She was the last member of her immediate family, preceded in death by her parents, husband Matthew Posinak, a son Mark M. Posinak, five brothers, Charles, John, Thomas, Nicholas, and Paul Delivuk, and a sister Ann Breland.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Mary Ann Nicholson, cherished granddaughters, Cherie Smith and husband Brent, all of Uniontown, PA, and
Heather Kasovich and husband Bill of Grindstone, PA.

Mary was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, and the Croatian Fraternal Union. She loved Polka's, something that she shared with her granddaughter Cherie, and enjoyed listening to the weekend WMBS Polka Hour programs with her family.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. on Friday in St. Mary (Nativity) R.C. Church, 61 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA, with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti as Celebrant

Interment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

The Parish Wake Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home chapel.
