Obituary

Martin P. Fagler, 61 of Farmington, PA passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at home, in the arms of his loving family.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy (Miller) Fagler, son Martin W. Fagler of Pittsburgh, daughter Melissa Jackson and husband Benjamin of Farmington, sister Marbeth Turner and husband Bill of Huntington Beach, CA, his mother Elizabeth Fagler of Hopwood, PA, brother-in-law William Miller and wife Glenda, sister-in-law Sue Harer and husband George, mother-in-law Linda Miller, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends, all whom he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his father Martin Fagler, and sister Marsha L. Fagler.

He was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church, Uniontown, PA.

Marty worked construction by trade, and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 84.

Gardening was one of Marty's favorite hobbies. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He was an active member of the Wharton Township Hunting and Fishing Club.

Marty's greatest love was working with youth. He participated yearly in the Wharton Township Hunting and Fishing Club Youth Turkey Hunt. He also coached baseball for 25 years at the Mountain Area Ball League in Farmington, PA.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 North Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, Saturday evening, March 23, from 6-8 p.m.; Sunday, March 24, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Monday, March 25, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the Hour of Service, with Pastor Richard Krug Officiating.

Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
