Mrs. Martha A.  Zapach, 93, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2025.

Martha was born in Uniontown on April 3, 1932 to the late Stefan and Anna Lengvarsky Krishan.

She graduated from Uniontown High School, class of 1950.

Martha married Edward Zapach on September 5, 1953.  He preceded her in death on September 20, 2005.

She was a member of St. Mary Nativity Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Golden Club of St. Mary Nativity Church, and the Widows Club of St. Therese Church.

Martha worked at Atlantic Freight Lines and Freed-Dorazio Insurance Company.

She is survived by two children, Deborah Tandarich and husband Thomas of Uniontown, and Thomas Zapach and wife Patti of Fairmont, WV; a daughter in law, Cindy Zapach of Concord Twp., OH; seven grandchildren, Thomas Tandarich and wife Gina, Jennifer Adams and husband Phil, Julianne Walker and husband Josh, Andrea Cardina and husband Andrew, Theresa Lubich and husband Luke, Emily Kintop and husband Doug, and Tyler Zapach and wife Rebecca; five great grandchildren; two sister in laws, Geraldine Krishan and Madeline Posvech.

Martha was preceded in death by a son, Edward G. Zapach; and two brothers, Edward and William Krishan.

Visitation for Martha will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Friday, November 7th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary Nativity Church, 61 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Saturday, November 8th at 10 AM with prayers of transfer at the funeral home at 9:15 AM.

Interment is in Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery.
