Martha Rose Scott, 85 of Lemont Furnace, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 25, 2019. She was born in Lemont Furnace on August 12, 1933, daughter of George and Mary (Freedmon) Hutson.

Martha was the last member of her immediate family preceded in death by her parents, husband Louis R. "Cudgel" Scott, their daughter, Lou Ann Scott, several brothers and a sister.

Martha was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church of Uniontown. She retired from Gallet Knitting Mills after 30 years.

She will be deeply missed by her caregivers, Kathy, Shelly, and Susan, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa. on Monday, April 29, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 30, at 10 a.m.

Interment will be private at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
