Martha Elaine Schnatterly, age 77, of Lemont Furnace, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Montefiore Hospital, in Pittsburgh, PA.

She was born on November 25, 1933 in Shady Grove, PA. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Katie (Matthews) Lerch.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Francis Schnatterly, brother; William Lerch, sister Genevieve Taylor, and sister-in-law; Lad Crawford.

She was a wonderful, loving, caring woman, and the sweetest angel of a grandmother anyone could ever have.

Martha is survived by a daughter, Sandra Humbert and husband Ron of Uniontown, PA.; two sons, Francis (Bud) Schnatterly and wife Karen of Cranberry, PA., and William (Billy) Schnatterly and wife Michelle of Chalkhill, PA.; five grand children; Leann Hardin and Husband Skip of Lemont Furnace, PA.,Nicole Knee and husband Scott of Uniontown, PA., Matthew Humbert and wife Kim of Finleyville, PA., Bryce Schnatterly of Cranberry, PA., and Alexandra Schnatterly of Cranberry, PA; three special great-grandsons Drew and Austin Hardin of Lemont Furnace, PA. and Jacob Knee of Uniontown, Pa; as well as Several Nieces and Nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa., today from 1-4 and 6-9 PM and Monday December 12, 2010 until 11 AM the hour of service with Pastor Justin Argabright officiating.



Interment will be private in Sylvan Heights Uniontown, PA.
