Marlene E. Hackney, 68 of Connellsville passed away on Monday July 26, 2021 with her family at her side. Born September 16, 1952 in Leechburg, PA, daughter of the late Robert Sr. and Gwendolyn (Schantz) Bowser; Beloved wife to James R. Hackney Sr.; Mother of James R. (Monica) Hackney Jr. of Canonsburg, Kristina (Donald "Travis") Liston of Dunbar; grandmother of Jacob Hackney and Greysen Liston; sister of Robert Bowser Jr. of Leechburg, Pa and Karen (Jamison) Kridler of Delaware, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Chad E. Hackney, her sister Evelyn Mago and her brother Ronald Bowser.
