Mark L. Vojacek, 59 of Uniontown, PA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Uniontown Hospital. Mark, born in Uniontown, PA., was the son of the late Steven G. Vojacek and Margaret (Galderisi) Vojacek.

A graduate of North Union High School, Mark also received his Associates Degree in Mining Technology from Penn State University. Throughout his career Mark worked for numerous coal mines, with his most recent being Cumberland Coal Resources. Mark was a lifetime member of U.M.W.A. He enjoyed spending time hunting and watching Pittsburgh Sports.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen G. Vojacek Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are, his wife, Theresa (Bennie) Vojacek; a daughter, Lael Vojacek and fianc Ron Hixenbaugh; a son, Samuel Vojacek; a granddaughter, Sadie Hixenbaugh; brothers, Martin Vojacek and wife Virginia, and Joseph Vojacek; and a sister, Concetta Bodnar, and husband Lawrence.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA., on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM and on Wednesday, May 22, from 9-10AM when a blessing service will be held in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Fr. James Clark officiating.

Interment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, located in Uniontown, PA.
