Mochnsky
September 30, 1935 – April 1, 2018
Marion Ann (Koschock) Mochnsky, age 82, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away into the arms of her loving Lord on, Easter Sunday April 1, 2018, . She was born September 30, 1935, daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (Duranko) Koschock. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James Lewis Mochnsky, goddaughter, Susan Novosel, godson, Ronald G. Koschock, and other beloved family members.
She was a devoted member of Saint John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church. Marion was the proud co-owner of J & M Dari Delight, worked at Town & Country, Marsolino Construction Company, and retired from the Bon-Ton after 20 + years of retail service.
In her retirement she found great peace and joy volunteering at the Mount St. Macrina Religious Gift Shop. Faith and family were the guiding forces in her life. She was constantly thinking of and taking care of others. Marion enjoyed feeding not only her family but everyone that walked through her door.
Surviving are her children, Charlene Galluzzo and husband Michael of Middlebourne, West Virginia, James G. Mochnsky of Shanghai, China, and Lisa Campbell and husband Daniel of Uniontown, PA.; her grandchildren, Michael, Erica, and Eden; great granddaughter, Katerina Trujillo-Galluzzo; a brother, Ronald Koschock and wife Bernie, many beloved nieces and nephews and their families, extended family, and many close friends.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa. on Thursday, April 5, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.; and Friday, April 6 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. when the Panachida Service will be held, followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Church, 185 E. Main St., Uniontown, Pa. with Rev. Father Ronald P. Larko as celebrant.
Interment will be held at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
The Parastas Service will be held on Thursday evening 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
