Mrs. Marie C. Matich, 98, of Connellsville, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025.

She was born on May 9, 1927 to the late John and Stella Jaslowski Sroka.

Marie married Mr. Steve Matich, and he preceded her in death in 1991.

She retired from Michael Berkawitz Company.

Marie was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.

She enjoyed taking care of her family.

Marie is survived by a son, Mark Matich of Connellsville; a daughter, Jane Faith of Cumberland, MD; a granddaughter, Brooke Liller of Frostburg, MD.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Zuzak and Irene Skocik; five brothers, Edward, Joseph, Robert, Eugene T., Theodore Sroka.

Services for Marie are private, and interment is in Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery.
