Marguerite Elizabeth Wilkes, age 89, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Saturday June 7, 2014.

She was born September 13, 1924 in Masontown, Pa., the daughter of Mary and
John Swartz.

She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and spent many years
Working, at Gallatin National Bank in Brownsville, where she met her loving husband of
34 years, William Wilkes. She also worked at The Veteran's Administration Office in Uniontown during her later years.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Wilkes, her first husband John Feeney, and Brothers Wilbur Swartz, Edward Swartz, Robert Swartz and John Swartz Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is son David Feeney and his wife Marianne of Miami, Florida and son Patrick Feeney and his wife Joanne of Warrington, Pa. She had four grandchildren, Brian, Jill, Kimberly and Elizabeth and five great grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. at 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa. on Tuesday June 10, 2014 from 9-11 a.m. when a blessing service will be held with Rev. Fr. Simboli officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
