Margaret "Rita" Twist, 82, of Hagerstown, MD, died on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Hagerstown Health Care Center. She was born in Uniontown on October 11, 1936, daughter of the late Andrew and Isabelle (Collingwood) Twist.

Margaret had been a member of the former St. Cecelia Parish in Lemont Furnace for many years.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Patricia Twist–Martinelli, two nieces, Rosemarie Davis, and Lisa Martinelli, all of Hagerstown, MD, and a nephew, Richard Martinelli of Summersville, S.C. She is also survived by cousins, Joseph Mankovich and Patrick Mankovich both of Uniontown, who helped her at home when she lived locally.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa. on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m., when a Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home chapel.

Private interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
