Mike and Marge lived in Fairchance before moving to Uniontown in 1954 where they became members of St. John the Evangelist Church. Everywhere she lived, she volunteered in the library.

She was a loving mother whose house was always filled with dogs, cats, and other peoples' children. She taught her children to love, laugh, play games, read, and cook. Donations in her name can be sent to Alzheimer's research organizations and American Heart Association.
