Margaret B. (Kolek) Podlogar, age 96 of Uniontown, PA., passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at LaFayette Manor Nursing Home. She was born on July 1, 1916 in Uniontown, PA, daughter of Andrew and Susanne Kolek.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Podlogar; a brother, Andrew Kolek; and a sister, Susanna Duranko.

Margaret was a devoted member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, PA. Throughout her life she worked at the Uniontown Country Club, The Summit Inn Hotel, and Berkowitz Garment Factory as a seamstress.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Marian Johnson and husband Roger of San Jose, CA.; a grandson, Sean Johnson of Escondido, CA; two great granddaughters, Mackenzie and Kelsie Johnson of Arvada, Colorado; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM; and Saturday, April 27, 2013 until 9:30 AM when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00AM in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, PA, with Rev. Fr. Stephen R. Bugay as Celebrant.

Interment will be held at St. Mary (Nativity) Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

The Parish Wake Service will be held on Friday at 3:30 PM.
