Obituary

Margaret E. "Peggy" Triplett, 89, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Peggy was born April 27, 1927, in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Herbert and Maude (Edwards) Evans.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 17 years, Donald L. Triplett, in 1964; her son, Donald Lee Triplett; and brothers, Kenneth Evans and his wife June, and David Evans and his wife Merrell.
Peggy was a graduate of North Union High School. In her early years, Peggy worked at Barton's Flower Shop and J.C. Penney. She worked as a secretary at North Union High School, Penn State Fayette Campus, and retired in 1992 as an Administrative Assistant. While working at Penn State, she earned her bachelors degree in Business Administration. Peggy was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, in Uniontown, an active member of the Business and Professional Women's Association (B.P.W.) and the Hopwood Garden Club. She was an avid bingo player. Above all, Peggy was a loving wife, an amazing mother, and wonderful grandmother who will be sadly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Barbara T. Nemchik and her husband James, and Bruce E. Triplett and his wife Stephanie; her grandsons, whom she cherished, Donald A. Nemchik and David E. Nemchik and his Fianc Vanessa Prutz; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Friday, February 3, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, February 4, until 11 a.m. the Hour of Service, with Dr. Andrew P. Spore Officiating.
Interment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
The family asks that any donations be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 34 Clark St., Uniontown, PA.
