Mrs. Margaret L. McClain, 99, of Uniontown passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Lafayette Manor.

She was born in Uniontown on September 8, 1926 to the late Andy and Mary Mizerak Swartz.

Margaret married Mr. Robert D. McClain, Sr., and he preceded her in death on December 31, 1988.

She was a member of St. Mary Nativity Church.

Margaret worked at the Uniontown Hospital, Murphy's, and Morosko catering service.

She was an amazing cook.

Margaret is survived by two sons, William McClain and wife Jamie of Uniontown, and Robert McClain, Jr. and wife Karen of Mt. Pleasant; a granddaughter, Kacy Kennedy and husband Eric of Uniontown; a great granddaughter, Dani Kennedy; A brother, George Swartz and wife Phylis of Uniontown; two godsons, Joe Swartz and Danny Elek; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Hunchuck, Katherine Elek, Ann Warsack, and Helen Casteel; five brothers, Andy, John, Frank, Joe, and Mike Swartz.

Services for Margaret are private.

Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
