Obituary

Margaret "Maggie" Gaydosh Staso, 91, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Golden Living Center. She was born on October 9, 1923 in Lemont Furnace, daughter of Edith Nicklow Layman and Alfred Nicklow.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Staso; brothers, Alfred "Sonny" Nicklow, and Charles Nicklow, sisters, Della Cornish and Edith Hart; and brother-in-law, Ray Hart.

Margaret was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Uniontown, PA.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Sandra Lee Mrosko and husband Bill of Uniontown; granddaughter, Denise Mrosko Tannehill and husband Rob of Peter's Township; two great-grandchildren, great-grandson Will Tannehill and great-granddaughter Jameson Tannehill; two step-children, Ronald Staso of Ohio and Pat Corella of Uniontown; a sister, Bertha Galterio of Uniontown; and a brother, John Henry Nicklow of Georgia.

We wish to thank the nurses, caregivers, and kitchen staff of Golden Living Center for their wonderful care and compassion.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 26, at 11 a.m. in St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 121 Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown, PA, with Pastor Jim Engel Officiating. Family and friends should gather at the church by 10:45 a.m.

Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
