Margaret (Opar) Hynek, 92, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Mount Macrina Manor. She was born in Sunshine, Pa.  on December 12, 1925, daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna (Piszko) Opar.

She was the last member of her immediate family, preceded in death by parents, first husband Robert Kurcina, second husband Joe Hynek, an infant son Robert Kurcina, her daughters, Maureen Gibson and Dolores Smith, three brothers, and four sisters.

She was the devoted grandmother of Debra Gibson, Todd Gibson, Brett Gibson, Jennifer Cremin, Brad Smith, and Leah Allen; and loving great grandmother of four great grandchildren. She is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and their families.

Margaret was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown. She will be deeply missed by her family

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Avenue Ext., Uniontown, Pa. on Thursday, August 30, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.; and Friday, August 31, until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.

Interment will be private.
