Margaret A. (Hudock) Henckel, age 79, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at home with her family at her side.
She was born on July 22, 1931 in Masontown, PA, daughter of Frank and Bertha (Cindrich) Hudock.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Henckel in 1986; three brothers, Dennis, Frank, and Robert Hudock; and one sister, Susan Hudock.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, PA. She enjoyed crocheting, and gardening, and caring for children. Lovingly known as "Bubbles" by her family, she made her home a special place of warmth and comfort.
She is survived by her loving family, daughter Sharon Kuhta and husband George of Uniontown, their children George and Kevin; son Larry Henckel and wife Carolee of Uniontown, their children Larry Jr. and Kristie Bogozi; son Mark Henckel of Uniontown, children Jennifer, Rebecca, and Lauren, and their mother Rita of Uniontown; daughter Brenda Lulich and husband Tim of Wexford, their children Tim and Tom; daughter Kimberly Henckel of Connellsville, child Nicholas Sokol, and his father Mike of Uniontown; daughter Jacqueline Hamo and husband Lou of Connellsville, their children Andrea and Katelyn; son Brian Henckel and wife Heidi of Mt. Pleasant, their children Christian and Alexa; great grandchildren, Cole Bogozi, Paige Bogozi, Zachary Henckel, Charlie Lulich, and Adelaide "Addy" Lulich; a sister Betty Ann Kennedy and husband Frank of Uniontown; a brother Michael Hudock and wife Donna of Uniontown; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, today, Friday, February 4, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, and on Saturday, February 5, until 9:15 AM, when prayers of transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Saturday at 10:00AM in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 50 Jefferson St., Uniontown, PA, with Rev. Father Michael J. Crookston as Celebrant.
Interment will be held at Mount St. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
