Margaret (Dufala) Muench, age 87, formerly of Masontown, PA, passed away on September 16, 2014 in Lakewood, OH. She was born October 10, 1926 in Republic, PA, daughter of the late Alex Dufala and Kathryn (Franks) Dufala.

Margaret was a graduate of the former Masontown High School and retired from AT&T. she was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America, a member of the Pals Club Ladies Auxilary and a member of St. Mary Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church of New Salem, PA.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, George, John, Alex Jr., and Joseph Dufala; Sisters, Catherine, Mary Nolan, and Helen Easterling.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Karen Morrison and husband Edward of Milford, NH; grandson, Edward Jr.; sisters, Irene Szczepaniak of Lakewood OH and Ann Ielinko and husband John of Northwood OH; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 515 N. Main St. Masontown, PA, on Sunday September 21, from 5-8 p.m. and until 9:15 a.m. on Monday September 22, when the Panachida Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Father Jerome G. Botsko as celebrant.

The Devine Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, Church St., New Salem, PA 15468.

Interment will follow at Mt.St.Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

The Parastas Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the Funeral Home.
