Margaret D. (Sofranko) Crofcheck, 90, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013.

She was born on June 20, 1922 in Perryopolis, Pa., a daughter of Jacob and Anna (Jankura) Sofranko.

Margaret was the last surviving member of her immediate family, preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vincent G. Crofcheck, a brother Joseph Sofranko and his wife Elizabeth, her sisters Ann Sofranko, Mary Rathway and her husband Joseph, Helen Emricko and her husband John, a brother John Sofranko and wife Marjorie and a brother Richard Sofranko.

Margaret was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, PA., a graduate of Uniontown Sr. High School Class of 1940; graduate of the Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing in 1943 and was a member of The Catholic Daughters of America #505 Uniontown, Pa.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sandra (Crofcheck) Campolongo and her husband John, Drew Crofcheck, grandchildren Lauren Campolongo, Raegan Crofcheck, Ava Crofcheck, she is also survived by her sister in law Cecelia Sofranko and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, Wednesday April 3, 2013 from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, PA with Rev. Fr. James Clark as Celebrant

Interment will follow in Mt Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
