Mabel Samus, age 104, passed away on October 24, 2025, in Wichita Falls, TX where she had resided since 2015.

Mabel was born in Point Marion, PA and was a graduate of Point Marion High School. She married her high school sweetheart, George Samus, and they shared a loving and caring partnership for 79 years. She and George enjoyed family, travel, and their life together in WV.

Mabel prioritized her family and was a devoted wife, homemaker, and thoughtful, loving mother to three children.  She actively supported the many organizations and activities in which her children participated and always encouraged them in their endeavors.

Mabel is survived by sons, Charles and John; daughter Roseann; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband.

The family would like to thank Mabel's special caregiver Jennifer Pruitt and the nurses and aides from Rolling Meadows for their care and kindness.
