Mrs. Lucy R. Maruniak, 89, of Dunbar, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Uniontown Hospital.

She was born in Uniontown on May 11, 1935 to the late Michael and Rose Robertelli Arcangelini.

Lucy graduated from Uniontown High School, class of 1954.

She married Mr. Donald Maruniak on May 11, 1957.

Lucy owned and operated Lucy's Beauty Salon for over sixty-five years.

She was a member of St. John Evangelist Church.

Lucy is survived by her loving husband, Donald Maruniak of Dunbar; three children, Jackie Watson and special friend Mark Raffle of Hopwood, Mark Maruniak and wife Janice of Uniontown, and Rick Maruniak of Dunbar; five grandchildren, Rachele Kazulen and husband Chris of Lemont Furnace, Michael Speelman and wife Gina of Uniontown, Jessica George and husband Brian of Uniontown, Kaila Maruniak and Chad of WA, and Joshua Maruniak and Brittany of Dunbar; five great grandchildren, Aubrey and Ayden Speelman, Jack Phillips, and Eva and Mable George; two sisters, Mary Hobaugh of Uniontown, and Grace Corona of Connellsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four siblings, Elizabeth Kegg, Joseph, John, and Frank Archangelini.

Visitation for Lucy will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Thursday, March 13th from 4 to 7 PM. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 14th at 10 AM at St. John Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 52 Jefferson St., Uniontown, PA 15401.

Entombment is in Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery.
