Louise Patricia Kanar, of Bitner, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. She was born at home, in Bitner, a daughter of the late Anthony and Stella (Skenerski) Kanar.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her sisters, Leona Krivosky, Bridgett Sumey, Virginia Varto, and Dalphenia Kanar; and her brother, Regis Kanar.
Louise was a former member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, in Connellsville, and a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, in Uniontown.
Left to cherish her memory, are her brother, James P. Kanar; her special niece, Arlene Sumey; nephew, Roger Krivosky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Thursday, December 7, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, December 8, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and Saturday, December 9, until 12:30 p.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 50 Jefferson St., Uniontown, PA, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Father Bill Kiel as Celebrant.
Interment will be held in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Connellsville, PA.
