Lottie Laughery, 78, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully in the presence of family, Tuesday March 11, 2014 of natural causes.
Lottie was born on July 18, 1935, to Francis and Jane Cosgrove in Uniontown, Pa.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenneth Moore.
She is survived by sons: Dr. Ronald Laughery (Mary Beth), Timothy Laughery (Lynne), Keith Laughery (Janice); daughter, Terri Kelley; grandchildren: Dr. Erin Carson (Kyle), Colin Laughery (Elizabeth), Corey Kelley, Sean Laughery and Daniel Laughery; great grandchildren: River Carson, Autumn Carson, Aiden Laughery; sisters: Mary Jane Wilson (Late Jim), Patricia Garee (Dave), Anna Marie Dayner (Bob), brothers: Bill Cosgrove (Dolores), Francis Cosgrove, Jr.. and also many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Lottie grew up in Uniontown, Pa., where she met and married Dr. Kenneth R. Laughery. They lived throughout the northeast and had four children before moving to Seabrook, TX, in 1972. They moved to Houston several years later where Lottie resided until her passing.
Lottie worked many years for the Houston Astros where everyone she met was greeted with her beautiful smile.
She was loved by all who knew her.
The service celebrating Lottie's life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday April 12, at Central Christian Church, 23 South Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., 15401, with the Reverend Heather Simpson officiating.
Interment will follow immediately at Sylvan Heights Cemetery in Uniontown.
