Lorna Kathryn (Hyman) Johnson, 83, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Uniontown Hospital. She was born in Parkersburg, WV on January 10, 1933, daughter of the late John Franklin Hyman and Gladys (Martin) Hyman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Johnson on May 18, 2000.

She attended West Virginia University, and was employed with Bell Telephone prior to devoting her life as a wife and mother. For over 30 years she was a den mother, treasurer and administrator for Cub Scout Pack # 623, and volunteered her time to many other local organizations as well. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, the Christian Women's Ministry, and the Red Hat Society. All God's creatures were well fed and cared for under her watch. Her love for others knew no bounds.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kurt R. Johnson and wife Rosemary of Vanderbilt, PA; Eric M. Johnson of Uniontown, PA; daughter-in-law, Shryl Straitiff of Uniontown, PA; grandchildren, Kurt R. Johnson, Jr., Brandon S. Johnson and fiance Kate, Cory R. Johnson and wife Kristy, Tyler J. Johnson, Brianna Mildren, and Michaela Mildren; great grandchildren, Madison, Sophia, Dominic, Jaxson, and Hannah; and her dear sister Chloe Ann.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Saturday, April 16, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.; and on Sunday, from 11 am until 1:30 pm.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, April 17 at 1:30 PM with Dr. Colleen Molinaro officiating.

Private entombment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, Uniontown, PA.

There will be a memory service at the funeral home on Saturday evening at 7 PM, accorded by the Cub Scouts of America.
