Lillian Ann (Bednarik) Mesco of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday May 26th, 2024 at WVU Medicine (Uniontown Hospital) with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. Born in Uniontown, PA on April 9th, 1934, she is the daughter of William M. and Anna (Guley) Bednarik. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Michael J. Mesco, her brothers and sisters, Margaret L. Doman, William P. Bednarik, Marie K. Katz and a special sister-in-law Shirley A. Bednarik. Lillian was a 1952 graduate of North Union High School and was a dedicated member of the reunion committee. She was an active member of St. Mary's Nativity RC Church in Uniontown, PA. Lillian was a former employee of Rockwell International (Census Technologies). Surviving are her loving children Deborah A. Wilson and husband Ron of Dunbar and James M. Mesco and wife JoAnn of Chelsea, AL. Affectionately known as Grandma Little and Mimi to her loving grandchildren: Amy Roberts and husband Jason of Chelsea, Al, Leslie Dover and husband Adam of Gardendale, AL, Ricky Shaffer and wife Mary of Gardendale, AL and Jessica Menozzi and husband Anthony of Belle Vernon, PA. 8 great-grandchildren: Ericka Chancellor and husband Ryan, Ty Loboda, Angelo Menozzi, Townley Loboda, Kaylee Roberts, Luxie, Henry and Lily Shaffer, 1 great-great-grandchild Carter Chancellor and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Friday Prayers of Transfer at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown at 10:00 AM.
