Leona (Stavish) Blaszczak, 89 of Uniontown, passed on Tuesday October 8, 2019. Born July 31, 1930 in Uniontown, daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Duda) Stavish; Beloved wife of the late Edward Blaszczak; mother of Patricia (George) Albin of MO, Janice Heintzelman of Uniontown, Edward Blaszczak of Uniontown, William (Tracy) Blaszczak of Hopwood, Gregory (Nancy) Blaszczak of Centre Hall, PA, Adele (Charles) Hayes of Harleysville, PA and Jeffrey Blaszczak of Uniontown; grandmother of 15; great grandmother of 6; sister of Larry (Patty) Stavish of New Salem and the late Joseph Stavish; several nieces and nephews also survive. Leona was dedicated to her family and to her career as a registered nurse and a member of St. Joseph's Church of Uniontown. Friends welcome at Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext.
