Kimberly (McDade) Berthlotte, 47, passed away unexpectedly August 17th, 2013, with her husband by her side in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She was born January 14, 1966, in Pennsylvania. She graduated from Brownsville High School in 1984. Born of Charlene (Sinclair) Augustine and Auther McDade of Smock, PA. She later proudly served in the United States Army where she met and married the love of her life, Danny Berthlotte. After their service they returned to Kim's hometown of Smock Pennsylvania where they would raise their family. Her life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile and loving touch brought great joy to her family.

She was an active member of the Abundant Life Church. Her interests included family, gardening, and reading. She devoted much of her time and energy as a devoted wife, mother, daughter and an extraordinary Mimi to family members.

"Kimmie" is survived by her mother, Charlene Augustine; Step-Father Joseph Augustine; her husband Danny Berthlotte; her two daughters: Samantha King of Uniontown and Katie Payton of Smock; her five grandkids which include Parker King "Lovey", Chase King "Tootie", Lucas Payton "Bubby", Mason Payton "PollyPop", and Aurora Payton "Red", two sons-in-law Brian Payton and Robert King. In addition to those, there are also many loving family members including step siblings and friends, and a sister by heart Lori Stogran.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur McDade, and her brother Arthur (Mickey) McDade, as well as maternal grandparents Duncan and Lottie Sinclair.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA on Tuesday August 20, 2013 from 12-3 and 6-9 p.m.; and on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 until 11 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Nicholas J. Cook officiating.

Military honors will be accorded by the AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood.

Interment will be private.
