Keith A. Saunders, 61 of Uniontown, PA, died on Monday, March 2, 2015 at the Uniontown Hospital. He was born on May 16, 1953 in Uniontown, son of Arthur and Norma (Hickle) Saunders.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his second wife Pamela (Withrow) Saunders in 2009.

For over 25 years Keith was employed with the Department of Public Welfare Fayette County Board of Assistance as a caseworker, and was the PSSU Union Representative. He graduated from California University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. During his childhood he attended the Trinity United Methodist Church, Fairchance, PA.

Keith was an avid sports fan of local teams and professional Pittsburgh teams, especially the Steelers.

He is survived by two children, Christopher Saunders and wife Angela of Connellsville, Jennifer Helms and husband Michael of South Connellsville; and his first wife Marianne Saunders of Uniontown. He also leaves behind step-children, Miranda DeFrank and husband Douglas of Mt. Lebanon, and Nathaniel Fullem of Farmington; grandchildren, Cole Fullem, Christian Saunders, and Tristen DeFrank; and many special friends who loved him.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Thursday (today) from 12-7 p.m.; and Friday from 11 am until 1 p.m., the Hour of Service with Pastor Tim Rogers Officiating.

Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery, Brier Hill, PA.
