Katherine V. (Marchinchin) Mego of Uniontown, PA, formerly of Bute, died at the Uniontown Hospital at the age of 95. She was born on October 17, 1918 in West Leisenring, PA, daughter of John and Susan Marchinchin.
Katherine was the last member of the Marchinchin family. Her parents, husband Nicholas Mego (1970), and her brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

She is survived by many loving Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews.

Katherine was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, and had been a lifelong member of the former St. Polycarp R.C. Church, West Leisenring. She was also a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Union.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Sunday, December 8, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.; and on Monday, December 9, until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, 61 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA, with her Great Nephew, Rev. Father Douglas E. Dorula, as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

The Parish Wake Service will be held on Sunday at 5:30 p.m..
