Julia (Sabo) Barnhart, of 152 Barnhart Road, McClellandtown, PA, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, August 22, 2015, at her home with her family by her side. Mom was born in McClellandtown, PA, January 21, 1927, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Berdar) Sabo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Barnhart Sr.; sisters, Helen Karwatske, Sophie Wydo, Anna Panuta; step-sister,Anna Dazella, Margaret Willis; brother, Charles Sabo; and a grandson, Christopher Barnhart.

Surviving are her four sons, Pastor Tom Barnhart Jr. (Monteen) of Hopwood, PA, Bob Barnhart (JoAnne) of Amarillo, TX, Bill Barnhart (Karen) of Ticonderoga, NY, and Brian Barnhart R.N. (Amy) of McClellandtown, PA; 11 grandchildren, Michelle Davis (Corey), Tom Barnhart III (Amanda), Jana DeArmond (DeArno), Bob Barnhart (Amy), Mike Barnhart (Sarah), Erika Reyes (Robbie), Evan Barnhart (Alicia), Holli Eddleman (Thomas), Alyssa Yuhaniak, Eric Yuhaniak, and Brandon Yuhaniak; 22 great grandchildren; and two brothers, Mike Sabo of Binghamton, NY, and John Sabo of McClellandtown, PA.

Mom had to deal with a lot of things common to many families in this area like; hard work, many children, little money, and trying to feed a growing family. But in one instant this past Saturday, all of that changed because of her faith in Jesus. Mom is now dealing with mansions, streets of gold, and things never dreamed of while on this Earth. Well done Mom, see you soon.

"I sit here by my mother as her life is passing by.
Trying to be strong, and trying not to cry.
For the One who gave her the breath,
That now is hard to take.
For He's the One who will take her home,
Heaven's Splendor now to make.
No more pain or medications,
Or struggling to live.
But now to live with Jesus,
And all he has to give.
So this poem is of inspiration,
To all of you that have yet,
Not given your lives to Jesus,
Losing all worries, grief, and regret.
Our Mom would like to tell you all
To just hold on and pray,
And you will win the race as well,
And see Jesus on that blessed day."

Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main Street, Masontown, PA on Monday, August 24, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Additional visitation will be held in, Julia's home Church, the Triumphant Fellowship Church, located on Route 21, from 10-11 a.m. the Hour of Service, with Pastor Tom Barnhart Jr. Officiating.

Interment will be held in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, PA.
